LOTHBROK 4ply & 8ply BFL / Gotland Yarn

Hand-dyed, 75% BFL / 25% Gotland yarn.

4ply, 100g skeins/approx 350m. Needles 3-4 mm.
8ply, 100g skeins/approx 230m. Needles 4-5 mm.

Lothbrok has a rustic look but is surprisingly soft and has a beautiful heather. Gotland is one of the few sheep that has a cold grey wool so Lothbrok has a cooler colour scheme than other yarn in our range. The Gotland fibre gives it character, the BFL (Bluefaced Leicester) fibre gives it lustre. Beautiful for stranded and fair isle knitting and also good for cables. Suitable for garments, hats, scarves, mittens, and big, cosy shawls.
